Update from my Sept. 28 blog post, Anti-Jihad ad prompts NYC authority to limit free speech.
A Federal judge in Washington, D.C., ruled on Oct. 6 that the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority violated free speech when the agency took down anti-Jihad ads in the New York subway.
These ads counter pro-Palestinian/anti-Israel ads that have been running in New York for a few years now.
What caused the hoopla was a temper-tantrum-throwing, vandalizing liberal, who is also an MSNBC contributor, spray painting the ad while yelling, "I hate Israel!"
The judge ordered the anti-Jihad ads be replaced by Oct. 8, no later than 5:00 p.m.
